this note bears the image of andrew jackson, 7th president of the us, 1829-1837. as president, he got congress to pass a law that evicted all native indian tribes from all territory east of the mississippi river to the west.

the cherokee tribe living in the state of georgia chose to file suit against the us government instead of going on the war path.

the case went all the way to the us supreme court.

I haven't figured out why when they printed our Canadian money that the prime ministers are all pictured with the top of their heads sort of, well, ... missing. I wonder if there is a hidden message to that. LOL

When It Snows, It's an Avalanche!

as if i wasn't already completely stressed out about my daughter's upcoming brain surgery, not to mention being executrix of my mother's estate (and she left a lot of debt), i just learned the day before yesterday that my father-in-law has colon cancer, and now today.... today i learned that my 35 year old nephew, my deceased sister's only living son, is suffering from congestive heart failure.

the cardiologists have told him he only has 10% function left.

they cannot even perform a catheterization to see whether or where arteries are blocked or valves are diseased.

What a lot of things going on with the health of your family.

Seems like a sort of "health snow storm".

Try to take things just one step at a time. I know, i know that's hard sometimes.

You will get through all this even though emotional rollercoasters are hard to ride.

I think my cat is a crack addict! :S

ok, it isn't really crack... but it might as well be!.

i have to be very careful not to leave any plastic bags anywhere around my apartment or my cat will try to eat it.

i'm always paying close attention to the plastic bags that i bring home from the store... they all go straight in to a covered trash can so that the cat can't get them.. now, for the last two days he has been puking all over the place and i can't find any plastic that he might have been eating off of... but i am finding the plastic in his puke... so i know thats what is going one.

I have to keep any and all plastic bags put away too. I'm scared he's gonna crawl in there and suffocate himself.

Cats do the darndest things. But cute aren't they.

i actually screamed and jumped out of my chair at the special effects...i was so impressed and shocked that i could be that surprised by the movie industry.. loved this movie.
